Topic 8 : Write about traffic problems in Vietnam and your own suggestions to deal with them
Hi, I’m Ngọc Anh. This article will provide you with information about traffic problems in Vietnam. The traffic situation in Hanoi is one of the biggest concerns today.
A traffic jam is the first thing that comes to mind. The rapid expansion of private vehicles and the encroachment of the traffic safety corridor. Hanoi's major roads are often congested at peak hours, making it difficult to move around. At peak hours, traffic can be congested on roads for hours, making traveling very uncomfortable.
Furthermore, many people still violate traffic laws such as
recklessly speeding, not wearing helmets, drinking while driving, going the
opposite way, etc. As a result, everyone's safety while driving is seriously
affected.
Vietnam's roads are also not as wide and clean as those in other countries. In addition to being narrow and bumpy, there are many potholes on the road, which makes it unsafe for pedestrians to drive on them.
Businesses using sidewalks to sell goods, to park cars, cause road users to be out of sight, resulting in the speed at which the road degrades. Such are the potential risks of causing traffic accidents. Due to this, the first step in finding a solution comes from everyone's consciousness right now.
The next step is to set an example for children to follow by educating their families, schools, and society to strictly obey traffic laws. Children are most likely to obey traffic laws if their parents set an example for them to follow.
